Anyone reading or publishing open access with SCAD Independent can be reassured that the same high standards apply as in traditional publishing models.

We will aggressively pursue all legal avenues to protect the privacy of our authors and users against unauthorized uses.

The JIP is licensed under a Creative Commons 4.0 International License (CC-BY-SA) or an equivalent license as the optimal license for the publication, distribution, use, and reuse of scholarly works. Access permissions beyond the scope of this license may be available at the digital libraries and open access repository databases.

This license permits anyone to compose, repair, and make derivative creation even for commercial purposes, as long as appropriate credit and proper acknowledgment of the original publication from a journal are made to allow users to trace back to the original manuscript and author.

Archiving
This publisher utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the publisher for purposes of preservation and restoration. See More...
